The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is a professional, non-profit, umbrella association which is comprised of all lawyers called to the Nigerian Bar.

It is engaged in the promotion and protection of Human Rights, the Rule of Law, and good governance in Nigeria. 

The Kaduna Branch is one of the 125 Branches of the National Body of the Nigerian Bar Association. It comprises of Lawyers practicing within the Kaduna Judicial Division.

It is  aptly styled as the Premier Bar of the North.
